The children of Morningstar receive the best care available because of the generosity of others. From hammering nails to swinging golf clubs, many individuals and organizations are involved in supporting the services and programs of Morningstar. One of the greatest ways to experience the quality of care provided at Morningstar is as a part of a volunteer mission team. Groups from all over the state travel to Morningstar's Residential Treatment Center in north Glynn County to build, paint, clean and refurbish the center's beautiful, historic campus. During the summer of 2006, mission teams constructed a group of cottages, which will be used to house future mission teams and visiting families of residents. The hard work and heart-felt care of the volunteer mission teams is a priceless contribution to the overall work of Morningstar. The efforts of these groups help to provide the best care and the best environment for Georgia's most in-need children.
