Residential Treatment Center
Every child deserves hope, but children with special behavioral or physical challenges often feel that they have no hope for their future. At Morningstar's Residential Treatment Center, the primary goal is to prepare children to live successfully in a community and to restore hope into the lives of at-risk children.

Located on a 350 acre site in north Glynn County, Morningstar's Residential Treatment Center is a unique program for children, ages six to seventeen, who are intellectually disabled and have severe emotional disorders.  The residents, who usually stay at Morningstar for twenty to twenty-four months, live in cottages and participate in individual therapy, group therapy, and a specialized educational program on campus. Each child's treatment program is tailored to recognize the strengths and abilities of the individual child. The program is positively focused with an emphasis on treating children and families with kindness, respect and dignity.

At Morningstar's Residential Treatment Center, some of Georgia's most in-need, and often forgotten, children and adolescents are given the hope that they deserve.  By making a tax deductible donation today, you can help provide that hope.
