Every child deserves loving relationships. Some children with special behavioral or physical disabilities have loving relationships within their own homes, but their families need the skills to deal with the child's particular struggles. For these children and their families, Morningstar provides community-based, family preservation services in twelve locations throughout the state of Georgia.

Begun in May of 1997, Morningstar's statewide network of Family Resource Centers is now the largest family based service provider in Georgia. Currently, twelve Family Resource Centers are scattered throughout the state and eight additional locations will be added in the near future.

Through the work of the Family Resource Centers, Morningstar addresses the needs of Georgia families with a competent team of local family care professionals. The Family Resource Centers are intentionally facilitating reconciliation and problem solving in families who have been torn apart by abuse, neglect, poverty and the challenges of special needs children.
